Melissa (Case) and Dexter have a daughter

Anna Pauline was born Monday. I know they aren't Hasselschwerts but many of you know them so thought you might enjoy seeing the proud parents.

Kendall Family Visit

Australians Take the GOLD in Diving

It was SO nice to return to England and have something to look forward to after such a fabulous summer.

Ben's brother, Sam and family, came to Merton for a few days.

Xavier participated in the Merton Olympics consisting of fishing, lassoing and diving. Above you can see Xavier after his remarkable dive into the miniature pool (fish pond). Feeling a bit startled, but no tears, he came out just in time for the next events...

We said Cheerio to them as they left to prepare for next year's Olympics in Merton.
We can't wait to see them again soon!

And...the rest of our USA trip

All Good Things Must Come to an End (or so they say)
8 weeks of pure fun, sun and travel...
We ended our 8 week trip to the states at Put in Bay with friends Heather and Kevin for a weekend. Heather and Kevin worked at the Boardwalk during college, so this was a bit of "glory days" for them. Put-in-Bay is the perfect place to people watch-some you can't believe!
It is now back to reality-ugh! Someone please call the waaaaambulance for us!

HOTLANTA

Atlanta, Georia- Week 2
Our visit to Atlanta to see Mark, Abbie and Jackson

Atlanta is home to Coke and the CNN building. Our first outing was to the Coke museum to taste over 100 types of Coke from around the world.
Here is Ben and I at the Coca-Cola museum in front of various Coke bottles from around the world.
Abbie, Ben and I dined at the local restaurant of "Six Feet Under" The Atlanta Police Dept. LOVE this place! So do we after having the yummiest meal after a massive rainfall while we were dining al fresco
Ben helps Jackson bug hunt at the park. They have just found the tiniest bug and Jackson was studing it for hours
Betsy, Abbie and Ben at Vickerys pub in Glenwood Park having a few nightcaps
